Progress and Success through Ecological Balance

The Armana Group firmly believes in sustainability. By being careful about the environment we operate in, we inculcate in our employees a sense of responsibility towards their surroundings.

The Armana Group constantly takes necessary initiatives to recycle and up-cycle while maintaining ecological balance in our manufacturing processes.

Product Manufacture

Organic Cotton:

The Armana Group strives to help the end consumer reduce their carbon footprint. Hence, we produce fabrics made from organic cotton.

Manufacturing Process:

Zero Discharge:

  • Armana Group is an active participant in the "Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals" project.
  • International brands like H&M and Levi's are the major partners driving this collaborative endeavour.
  • The Group has partnered with world-renowned chemical producers and laboratories to analyze the toxic and harmful chemicals used in the industry and eliminate them from its manufacturing and washing processes.
  • There are no hazardous chemicals in our end products and discharges.

PACT:

The PACT is an initiative that ensures we record, analyze and audit the power, groundwater, steam, gas, greenhouse gases, wastewater and solid waste generated during the manufacturing processes. Based on the findings, we incorporate more efficient measures and controls to minimize energy waste.

Energy Sustainability:

  • Natural lighting on the production floors and energy efficient machines and equipment make our organization more power-friendly on a day-to-day basis.
  • LED light across our factories to optimize energy consumption is a major initiative.

Machinery:

  • Majority of the Japanese and European machines used with efficient servomotors for optimal output and minimal usage of energy.
  • Our old machines are made energy efficient by replacing the traditional motors with servomotors.

Safe Disposals:

  • We ensure safe disposal of the waste without any landfills and harm to the environment.

Water Conservation:

  • Our laundries are equipped with effluent treatment plants where wastewater is treated to remove chemicals before discharge.
  • At Denimach a state-of-the-art, high-tech GE (General Electric) biological treatment plant is an addition.
